Hands on the spine. Nothing extra for show.
This is a straight chiropractic office. Dr. Leif locates joints that are not moving well and adjusts them by hand so you can move, sleep, and work with less interference.
Sherman College trained Dr. Leif to think about the spine as the housing for the nervous system. When vertebrae lock up, the body compensates — stiffness, pain, headaches, a range of motion you stop noticing until it is gone.
An adjustment is a specific, controlled move meant to restore motion. It is not a massage, a stretch class, or a stack of modalities billed on the side. Patients who have been to other offices often mention that difference first: he does not do unnecessary treatments just to get more money.
Common reasons people call
Back pain — Low back strain, stiffness after sitting, and the kind of ache that follows you through the day.
Neck pain — Desk work, driving, and restless sleep all land in the neck. Hands-on adjustments help it move again.
What we do / What we skip
What we do:
Spinal examination and hands-on chiropractic adjustment
Care for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and stiffness
Straightforward recommendations, including Medicare assignment
Time with the doctor — not a hallway of rotating staff
Headaches — Many headaches start in the neck and upper spine. Patients often leave a visit feeling clearer.
Everyday stiffness — Getting out of a chair shouldn't be a project. We work on the joints that have stopped cooperating.
Note: Care is recommended visit by visit. If you are not a candidate for chiropractic, we will say so. If something sounds like a medical emergency, call 911 or go to urgent care — do not wait on an appointment.
What we skip:
Long prepaid packages you have not asked for
Extra therapies added to pad a visit
A crowded, high-volume waiting room
Pressure to come three times a week "just because"
Ready to come in? Call Sharon and we will find an appointment that actually fits.
